- the self is a system
the self is a system
(an endless one)
There’s this constant pressure to “figure yourself out.”
Like once you finally understand who you are, everything will click and you’ll get to relax. Done. Complete.
Well… not really.
You’re not meant to land anywhere and stay there forever.
Identity isn’t something you solve. It’s something you meet again and again.
With every shift in season. Every new phase. Every mental spiral and unexpected challenges or ideas.
So what if you’ve never actually been stuck?
What if you’ve just been holding yourself to a version of you that made sense then, but doesn’t anymore? Maybe that’s why you’ve been so lost or confused.
We’re not designed to stay consistent.
We’re not code. We’re systems. Layered, reactive and alive. And well… Alive things grow.
The only thing that should be consistent is your effort to evolve and experience life.
You are emotional.
You’re creative.
You’re wired to think, feel, respond and adapt.
That means you’re going to change.
So if that scares you, good. Let it.
Because the alternative is trying to hold it all together forever? That’s its own kind of personal hell.
A systems shift when something touches it.
It reorganizes under pressure.
It opens new directions when the context around them changes.
The version of you from a year ago probably wouldn’t survive what you’ve lived through since. The way you react, speak, trust, dream… it’s already shifted.
Some of those shifts were loud. Some of them were quiet. Some you’re only noticing now.
You still carry parts of yourself you haven’t met yet.
There are desires you haven’t even admitted to yourself.
Behaviors and patterns that haven’t had the right conditions to show up, yet.
That’s not something to fear. That’s not you falling apart.
It’s the process of evolving.
But most of us weren’t taught that.
We were taught that confidence = having it all figured out.
That clarity = control.
That change is only valid if it looks clean and impressive. And of course, Instagram-friendly.
You know that’s not real.
So why keep chasing it?
What if you didn’t try to name everything right away?
What if you just noticed what feels different and stopped rushing to make it familiar again?
That’s what endless means to me.
Not in a spiritual, abstract and unreachable way.
Endless as in: always moving.
That itch to try something different.
The moment you stop shrinking just so people can keep loving the older, easier version of you. And if you don’t let curiosity speak louder than fear. You WILL stay stuck. And you will call it stability. Huh.
You’re a living system. You respond. You reorganize. You expand.
If you’re in that in-between, that messy middle where nothing makes full sense yet, I want you to know you’re not lost.
You’re just changing.
What you need is attention. Not a new identity.
You need to notice what’s shifting.
And be honest about what no longer fits.
If you’re looking for a tool to check in with yourself right now… I made something for that.
It’s called the Creative Energy Quiz.
Not a personality test.
Not a “who are you in five questions” thing.
It’s something to help you figure out where your creative energy is right now.
What’s working. What’s in the way. What needs to be seen or adjusted.
There are also steps to move forward. No worry, it’s completely free.
And when you take it, you’ll also unlock early access to ENDLESS-ID: my creative community for people who are serious about evolving through their work, voice, and self-awareness.
It’s not a course.
It’s not a formula.
(Yes…that fantasy. You can let it go.)
We officially reopen in June. But if you’re here now and feel like it’s your time to join, you don’t have to wait.
Start with the quiz. If it speaks to you, it will lead you where you need to go.
Thanks for being here,
